I have the 110.45088404 washer plugged in but nothing happens. None of the buttons do anything and there are no lights on. I presume the board is shot but which one (if I'm right on that?). Thanks!

Have you verified you have power at the outlet?

Next suspect... Door lock.

There is power at the outlet. How do I test the lock?

Posted

Mechanically: Is it latching? Does it appear broken?

Electrically: test for continuity with multimeter  (unit needs to be unplugged and lock needs to be disconnected to test)

Not going to be a door switch!  Door switch can be bad but panel should still light up and be able to accept inputs.

First place to check is at the power cord just after it enters into the machine, it first connects to the noise filter then from the noise filter to the main control board.

A bad noise filter would kill all power to unit, if you have 120 Vac entering and exiting noise filter next is to check power at control board.

Thank you. I am not completely sure how to test those things though, unfortunately. I'm sure there's a YouTube video, however. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks for the input!
