Our Whirlpool Duet Gas Dryer runs OK but provides no heat. Any help on how to go about fixing this would be appreciated.

First I would double check to make sure the gas is turned on. Then I would check the thermal fuse for continuity and if that's good I would check the ignitor. When you first start the dryer are you getting any heat at all? If not then the problem is probably one of the two I mentioned. If the ignitor glows and you hear a click and no flame, then it's probably the coils that sit on top of the gas valve. If you see the ignitor glow and it continues to glow for more than 30 seconds and there is no click then it's probably a bad flame sensor. You also have a thermistor that sits opposite the thermal fuse near the blower housing that could also be bad.
