Whirlpool dishwasher draining issue

Hi,
I have a whirlpool gu1500xtls3 dishwasher that does not drain properly. When I started working on it, it would not drain at all (nor end of cycle, nor by pressing the cancel button). I have cleaned and checked to work well:
- the check valve
- both drain hoses
- the chopper assembly
- the drain pump is not mechanically stuck (rotates squarely as should) and has continuity if measured with an ohm meter and has a normal working sound when activated by cancel button. Motor gets 110v ac. Motor runs seemingly well, when out of the appliance I put 110v on it.
I have no idea if the pressure switch may have anything to do with it, but when I tested it, it was inconsistent, so I am uncertain of that.
Revisiting it after a week of not having time for it, when I took the drain hoses apart at the connection, there seemed to be a good pressure pumping the water into the bowl but I could fairly easily keep it tightly sealed with my thumb. Not sure how strong the pump should be.
When I blew into the second hose going to the siphon and the disposal unit, to make sure that is still clean, it was very hard to blow and I found a clog in the siphon.
Now I had one run, when it all worked well, but since that one run now it always has most of the water sitting in the machine after it's done. By pressing the cancel button, it now drains properly. I spent almost 2 hours babysitting the machine while it ran a normal cycle with high heat. It was stuck on 78 minutes on the display for over 20 minutes and after each draining cycle I looked into it and most of the water was there, I could hardly see a little water being pumped in the disposal.
I feel there was an initial problem with the waterway being clogged, but now that it is clear and drains well on cancel button, I wounder if it is a main control board issue, in which case it is just better to get a new machine, I am thinking.
Please, let me know your thoughts, what am I missing/overlooking?
Thank you in advance!

Check the siphon again... I have had these with thick white grease running a couple of feet long in the hose blocking things up like grandpa's arteries- subsequent hot water passing through can re-melt the grease and cause the blockage again. I have had to swing the hose around over my head in the back yard, in extreme cases, to clear the goop.

Hold the drain hose into the sink and watch how strong the stream is throughout the ENTIRE drain cycle to be sure it doesn't weaken due to suction from a clog somewhere else in the hoses or sump- because you know if there is a ton of grease in the siphon, it had to pass through the rest of the unit to get there...

Hi Hiroshi,
Thank you very much for the response. It was not grease, but a round aluminium piece, that blocked the siphon again. The same piece that was the culprit the first time, but it fell back in the tube I guess and blocked it again. Now it seems to be working.

Thanks again!
