Model # MCBR1020W.

Hi.

My refrigerator stopped getting cold. The fan in the freezer runs but neither upper or lower boxes get cold. The first thing I did was check the temperature switch, I don't heat it click when I raise or lower it. I put a volt meter on it and have 120V between green and black, and 120V between green and brown, 0V between brown and black. I hear a click coming from near the compressor but the compressor does not run.

I appreciate any help I can get, what is the next thing I should check?

Thanks,

Check to see if there's voltage at the start device on the side of the compressor.

The wire going to this part,

Part number: AP5272242

Part number: AP5272242

and the wire going to this part:

Part number: AP5272246

Part number: AP5272246

Should have 120 volts between them when the compressor should be running.
