Frigidair LGGF305MKFJ oven gas smell and "woomp" noise, how to replace igniter

I have an issue similar to what is discussed in this thread:  https://appliantology.org/topic/14758-anyone-have-a-tech-manual-for-kenmore-m79079213300-gas-range/

My issue only happens occasionally, maybe once every few weeks we will smell gas and hear a "woomp" when it lights  I took it apart this morning and it worked fine every time I tried it, taking about 45 seconds to ignite when cold.  I could hear the gas valve open and close, and it closed quickly (no sputtering or anything), so I guess I I will try replacing the igniter first.  There is no crud or corrosion on the burner.  I have a few questions I hope someone can help with:

To get at the burner, I took out the bottom of the oven and two shields/baffles, but there is still a solid piece of sheet metal between me and the connections for the igniter (the wires disappear underneath).  This piece is in grooves on each side of the oven, so it looks like it would have to slide out either to the front or back.  This stove has a small second electric oven in the drawer underneath the main oven.   Can anyone confirm how to disassemble the oven to replace the igniter?

The igniter for this oven is more expensive than most ($75), I guess because it comes the right connector to just plug it in.  If I wanted to buy a generic igniter (with the correct form factor and specs) and wire it in, would that work?  Where would I find the amperage of this igniter (there were no markings on it that I could see)?

Thanks for any suggestions.

A generic will work just fine. It will come with ceramic wire nuts, and you can't mix the wires up, it doesn't matter . Most of the time it will fix your issue.

You will have to access the gas valve and ingitor wires from the rear on ones that have a warming drawer, (pull range out from wall to work on back side).

This is a good generic Frigidaire oven ignitor that comes with the ceramic wire nuts:
