Why is the Dojo Archived? I can't make a new post? What's going on?

There enough other specific forums that cover everything discussed in the Dojo: kitchen appliances, laundry appliances, business matters, war stories, etc., that the Dojo itself had just become a catchall forum with no focus. In other words, specific forums now exist for any topic that would formerly have gone into the Dojo. Also, all the forums in the Professional Appliance Technician Forums section of the site are tech-only, so the Dojo no longer had a monopoly on tech-only exclusivity. 

This topic is a good case in point. It belongs in the Suggestion Box and Site Help forum instead of the The 40 Watt Club (where you posted it) and will be moved there. :dude:
