Maytag DE4000 dryer running but not heating

The dryer runs but I am not getting any heat.

I checked the heating coil, the thermostat on the coil, the cycling thermostat  and the motor switch.... All showing good continuity.

Now what do I check?

You need 240vac for the element to get hot. Next step is half splitting the circuit. Find which wire from heater runs to the motor and disconnect it from the heater. With drum removed prop the belt switch up and leave door switch wires connected but moved to the side so you can access the heater while the unit is running. Make sure the wire you disconnected is not touching anything. Turn on unit and check for 120v at that wire if you do not have it you will need a motor. If you do have 12v the check voltage on the wire you left connected to the heater. If you do not have 120v there then you will need a timer.

Sometimes the circuit breaker will only trip halfway... I always reset it once first on electric heat appliances.
