Kendo Points dropping?

Hiroshi

Recommended Posts

I noticed over the last couple weeks that my Kendo Points have been dropping a few a day instead of increasing as replies are made...

Are there new rules for them or somesuch?

No new rules or tinkering going on, honest! It's just a software plug in that we don't have much configurable control over. This is why we're running an extended beta to make sure it behaves nicely.

All that said, I can tell you that, as far as we know, the plugin is SUPPOSED to automatically give points (no human required!) when someone makes a reply to a topic. The week, month, year columns are moving or rolling totals  meaning they are updated and referenced to the current day. So your weekly and monthly point total will look different each day as it looks back the last 7 or 30 days. It's as simple as that. So, for example, the monthly points view is not tied to the current calendar month but it's a 30 day look back from the current day. Make sense?

Lol, I don't think there is any FBI level Kendo point wiki leaks going on, but I could of sworn I saw it going down!

Your weekly and monthly points will fluctuate based on your activity because of the 7 and 30 day lookback from the present day. The one to keep an eye is the "all-time" column- it will always increase.
