Samsung rf263beaesr Ice Maker Melty (lack of better word)

My ice maker only wants to dispense soft, melty, crushed ice.  I assume that it comes out crushed because it is too soft to stand up to the auger mechanism.  Inside the ice make is often a lot of frost, dripping water, and ice buildup.

I used some calking rope and sealed up the edges of the outside or the ice box.  I thought this might help.

The flapper in the door seems to close good and the door gasket seems to seal tight.

What can I do?

I have some pictures but I can't figure out how to post them.

If the area surrounding the icemaker unit is not cold enough, you will have slushy ice bin syndrome... what is the temp in the icemaker section?
