Wards Signature condenser aproximately 1968 model

It is a 2-ton approx 1968 Wards Signature condenser. I believe the airflow on those condenser's was pulled down threw from the top and out the side.

I could use some verifcation on this, as I believe that tech thinks the blower should be mounted to pull air up through the unit, as nearly all are now days. He told her the blower was mounted backwards!

Back in the mid 1970's I saw that condenser and the airflow was down through the condenser and it cooled extremely well.

Please verify the airflow direction of this condenser so I can call her long distance and let her know the score.
