Jenn-Air Gas-Electric Grill-Range Model SEG196 - mixed functionality

This range is about 25 years old. That said, it was working fine until a few weeks ago. It now has the following issues.

The Bake and Clean settings for the oven don't work, but Convection Bake still does.

When you turn on the either of the left side burners, the fan goes on automatically and you can't turn it off. The fan does not turn on when either of the right burners are lit.

What is the most likely cause of this? I was thinking it might just need a new control panel.

This is my mom's oven and she wasn't quite ready to get a new one so I thought I would check here first in case we can fix it for now while she figures out what she might want to replace it with.
