Troubleshooting and Repairing the F11 Error Code in a Whirlpool Duet Washer

Hello sir,

I completed the repair suggestions mentioned in the video of the same title as this post. I checked all the connections and soldered the points suggested to raise the connection point on the board. I also ran all the diagnostics and everything worked fine. Last night I ran the machine and it worked with no problems. Today it was ran again and had the code F 11. Should I disassemble the machine again and check for loose wires elsewhere on that cable? Is there any other suggestions for this?

Prior to this repair I was also getting a F dl for the door lock. I think that has been fixed as well since it did not happen again. Is there a possibility these two are the same problem. Is there any way if I replace the door lock mechanism the F11 code would go away too?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Patrick

Always include model numbers.

They are many different duet models.
