Frigidaire Affinity Front Load Washer - Speed Control Board

Recommended Posts

We have had this washer for several years now and the speed control board has went out twice.  The first time I replaced just the control board.  About 6 months later it failed again so I changed both the speed control board and the motor, just to be on the safe side.   Now I am getting the same error code again.  I have read that this is a part with a high failure rate, but what could make it fail multiple times over the last 3-4 years?

I decided I am going to replace it one more time and am going to put a high quality surge protector between the washer and the electric outlet to be on the safer side....but if this thing fails again I am going to replace the washer.
