My refrigerator dispenses water and makes ice but it doesn't dispense the ice.  When I depress the crushed or cube buttons on the front panel the auger motor makes no noise.  I therefore changed the auger motor but it still does not dispense ice nor does it make any noise.  The only other thing I can think of that could be a problem is the wire harness.  Any other suggestions as to what the problem could be or what else I can do to troubleshoot the problem are much appreciated.

A model # would help a lot. You want to see where exactly you are loosing power. And if you are not getting power you need to figure out why. A wire schematic will tell you that.

Thank you for your assistance.  The model# of the refrigerator is EI23CS55GS1.  I imagine in could search for the wire schematic online?

Does the ice chute flap open when you push in on the dispenser? If it opens and closes momentarily, try holding it open manually.

If that activates the auger. You have a bad dispenser module.

Jmfister, thank you for the post.  Yes the ice chute flap stays open when I push in on the dispenser and it stays opens until I release the dispenser.  I changed the dispenser module a couple of weeks back as the plastic flapper broke.

Your tech sheet is located at front bottom of fridge after removing toe kick.

Tape door switch close. Test for voltage at auger motor while depressing switch.

Check lower hinge for possible broken wires
