Kenmore Washer 417.44052400 Error Code E13 -- what to look for leak-wise on the air bell

Symptoms:  Prepare washer for use; close door; push start button.  I hear the door latch solenoid click but that's it.  Nothing else happens. I've run through the diagnostic test and all of the various modalities seem to work fine. The error code is E13.

According to the manual, E13 indicates (1) a water leak, (2) leak in the air bell or (3) bad water pressure switch. If those fail, replace the control board.  I've ruled out water leak and pressure switch (simply replaced it -- it was cheap and easy).  So the last thing before replacing the whole damn thing (I'm not replacing the control board a third time.  In the last 3 years, I've replaced the following on this machine: door latch Sept 2016;main control board Dec. 2015 and Dec. 2013; shock absorber June 2015; door handle May 2015; drive belt (most recently March 2015)).

So that leaves leak in the air bell before I haul this thing to the curb.  But is there anything in particular I'm looking for?  Any good test to see if it is leaking, or is it just a visual exam to see if I can see something untoward?  Or, if I plug the hose connection going into the water pressure switch (temporarily), should that allow the machine to work if the problem is in the air bell rather than the control board? (that strikes me as the easiest way to troubleshoot it assuming that plugging it will eliminate an air leak as the issue).

Thanks, Andy

Could be a clogged pressure tube, pull tube from pressure switch and blow in it towards the tub and make sure it is not blocked. Could be a hole in the pressure tube. Pull it loose from both ends plug one end with your finger and suck on the other end. You should be able to tell if there is a hole in the tube.

Thanks for the suggestions.  Tried them all and no evidence of a plugged tube or leak.  I guess its to the curb with this one.  If anyone wants it for parts, just pay shipping from the Virgin Islands . . .:D
