Hello,

Yep, our dryer is not heating today.  The manual doesn't give you much to check out but here's the checklist... Circuit breaker, Check...Set to heat setting, Check...Clean lint filter and exhaust duct.... Well, under the pull out part of the lint filter I extracted several wads of lint, exhaust is a short run but it's blowing out pretty strong (I've not looked inside the duct).

Any suggestions for other things I can check would be appreciated.

You said you checked the breaker, but have you checked to make sure you are getting 240 volts to the dryer at the terminal block? If that is good then it is most likely the element itself or one of the thermostats on the element, you can purchase the entire heating assembly with the thermostats. Part # DC97-14486A

Thanks for the reply.  Does the Hour Glass light have anything to do with not getting heat?  I questioned if that was always on but my wife could not say for sure.  I noticed it stays on no matter what setting I select.  The manual doesn't define that

I apologize, did not see that you had replied. If your not getting heat and using a sensor dry the hourglass would stay on, its only sensing the dampness of the clothes and would keep thinking and adding time. I would not think it should be on during a timed dry, but i couldnt find anything in the owners manual about it for your dryer either. I would still start with a resistence test on the heating element and the back thermostat on the heating element. You should have continuity thru them.  I would also clean the sensing bars with alcohol if you use dryer sheets, it builds up on there and wont sense as well. Hope this helps.
