ewg14440w electrolux e41 error code

Hi just after Christmas my washing machine (ewg14440w electrolux) displayed a e40 and e41 error.  The little green light for the door locking switch wasn't coming on.  I replaced the door interlock (http://www.espares.co.uk/product/es488164/washing-machine-door-interlock?pageNumber=1&PartTypeId=1556&ModelId=992416) and all was working well until yesterday.  About 15 minutes away form the end of the 2 hour cycle, I'd guess around the time the machine was about to spin the machine showed the e41 error again and now the green light for door lock is not displayed.  Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this? Thanks

Unfortunately, the geniuses of the world have made it very difficult to use/research foreign model numbers in our US parts and info databases...

I tried to access electrolux UK and get the old run-around. Your model number comes up invalid in the electrolux North America site.

As a tech, I would pull the unit apart again and make sure the wire harness is firmly attached and hasn't vibrated loose, there should be technical documents in the machine to lead you through the diagnostic program and show what to test and look for as far as readings on your meter...

If you don't have a meter, it's time to call in an "engineer."

I did some research on the net and most answers directed towards the fact that if your doorlock went

it may have damaged the controlboard. I would suggest 2 British sites :
