Kitchenaid Dishwasher KUDM24SEBL5 SERIAL FH5107548 Part Help

Recommended Posts

Our dishwasher has custom wood panel and the black plastic frame around door has cracked on both sides right where it was connected to the console. Thus far I have been unable to identify the part number for this. Kitchenaid customer service has sent me parts diagrams but the part is not on any of the diagrams they have sent. To help. I've tried many times to upload a photo to this post but nothing happens when I insert the URL. Can anyone come up with a part number? Thanks!

Frame?

Part number: WP9743028

Part number: WP9743028

OR

Stiffener

Part #: 9742964

Part number: 9742964

The manufacturer no longer makes this part, and there's no substitute part.

Part number: 9742964

Thank you but it's neither of those parts. Finally got the photo posted so hope this helps. There are two arrows showing the complete part. It's the console and the plastic running down the side. Between the two arrows you can see where it's separated from the crack. Thank you

Are you sure the screws are not just loose from console?

Posted

Yeah, those are not one piece... the "escutcheon" is separate from the frame that holds the wood panel.

Thanks for the replies. It sure looked like one piece to me but I guess I'm wrong. I don't see any loose screws but I'll investigate further.
