I have a Culligan High Efficiency softener that is only 3 years old. The water level used to only be about 6"-8". Now it has started to be about 2' and I believe is shutting itself off with a safety device that shuts it down at this level. I have taken the brine tank apart and removed all the sludge at bottom. The float is not stuck and the tube from brine tank to softener is clear when blown thru. Could anyone tell me what other things I can check myself. Thanks, Mark.
