SEARS STATES THIS PRODUCT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE, ALL THE OTHER PARTS FOR THE ICE MAKER ARE. MINE IS SO BRITTLE, IT'S FALLING APART. I'M GLUING IT BACK TOGETHER NOW, BUT IT'S LOOKING BAD. DO YOU HAVE ONE OR KNOW WHERE I CAN GET ONE.

If you are talking about the gear which is part 4 in ice maker diagram. Yes NLA. 

Youll need to buy this:

The part number that he shows is for the dispenser display but he said Ice maker cover and then referred to the ice maker gear

Hi guys, I am referring to the part # 241559206, the ice maker cover. I have had no luck in locating this item. Any suggestions, I have searched e-bay, there are covers out there, but they are not mine specifically and I don't know if any of them would substitute for mine.

It is not essential. I would carry-on without it until the icemaker itself has a problem, then, replace the whole thing.

Yeah, I understand that it will function without this decorative piece and that its sole functionality is merely aesthetics. Having a wife under the same roof means that it is not just a Kenmore, but a Kenmore Elite. With that being said my glue and spray paint job is not winning me any prizes in the sack races! Thank You for your help and I will keep an eye open in the e-bay lists, if any one comes by one send them my way please!

You can buy the whole new icemaker in advance- swap the cover over, and then wait for the other shoe to drop. Happy wife, happy life.
