He3 F11 code starts immediately when I begin diagnostics

Hello, I am troubleshooting the F11 code on my Kenmore He3 washer (11 years old). I have looked at connections at the ccu and the mcu and appear good. When I start the diagnostic check the door locks, then I get the F11 code again.

I was able to run the drain cycle for 10 seconds to drain the machine, but then immediately get the F11 code again. Do I take a chance and replace either the mcu or the ccu? Which do you think? Thanks.

It could be CCU, MCU or the wire harness between them. Without testing there's no way to tell. You'd just be guessing.

But MCU is most often the culprit.

If you buy all three from AppliancePartsPros.com you could return the ones you don't need.
