GE dishwasher / model DU2JV leaves detergent in reservoir, leaks down door, detergent on dishes, doesn't fully dry dishes

Hi all, I have a GE dishwasher model DU2JV that was in our house when we moved it. Recently have been noticing that dishwasher detergent gunk remains in the reservoir, and leaks down the door after we run the dishwasher. The gunk also appears on our dishes that are in front of where the detergent reservoir is. The dishwasher also doesn't dry dishes completely.

Any advice on things I should check? Oddly I can't figure out how to attach images on this site, once I figure that out I can upload what I'm seeing.

Pull the screen out and clean it, check for debris in the sump while you have it out. Make sure your water temp is at least 120 when it enters the DW.
