Manufacturer: Electrolux
Type of Appliance: Gas Dryer
Model Number: ewmgd65irr2
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): yes

So I tore apart a gas dryer to fix the issue why the drum would not turn. The problem was a sock lodged into the blower wheel assembly. I put the dryer back together, plugged it in, what do you know it trips the breaker for the outlet. Would this be caused by an unsecured ground wire? Help would be appreciated!

Dead short from a pinched wire or a wire left disconnected...

Does it trip the breaker instantly upon plug-in? Did you check the door switch wires?

The breaker is tripped once I press the start button. It does not do anything once I plug in.
