Guys,  About once a month i have to remove ice from the in the top of my freezer.   Why?    I made a couple quick videos to help explain the problem.

There is an eveaporator coil above that panel the fan is mounted on... it is having some problem with the drip pan designed to catch the defrost water, which in turn, is forming the icicle.

Any work near the evaporator needs to be approached with extreme caution as these models are prone to refrigerant leaks where the support clips hold the evaporator. You may have a bad drain tube heater allowing a freeze-up.
