Received delivery of new Samsung refrigerator 29 May.  Everything seems to work fine (cooling etc.) except it randomly emits a single beep.  When this happens the control panel lights up and it also changes the water dispenser setting from water to cubed ice.  I've unplugged in attempts to possibly reset it, but the random beeping continues.   It is not the door ajar alarm as this is a single beep and is randomly spaced...sometimes 30 min, sometimes over an hour. I've also wondered if the default setting for the dispenser is the ice mode, and it may possibly reset it to that?

Any Ideas what's happening.

Sounds like there is a short in the touchpad or main control. I believe you are hearing it beep because it thinks the button is being pressed. I would call Samsung and set up a warranty call. As a Samsung authorized service center and if I got that call I would replace the touchpad and possibly the main control because with it being so intermittent it would be very difficult to catch it in the act to definitively diagnose the cause.

Thanks.  I did chat with a Samsung agent and was told to call the installers because it may be due to them...I explained that it made no sense to me as the unpacked, leveled and hooked up water...shouldn't cause this issue.  Frustrating.  I'll call.
