Looking for the service manual for this model.  Specifically information on disassembly - access to the spark module and ignitor switches.  It appears that the control panel is screwed in place from the inside for aesthetics.

Search the Downloads for "jgp" and you'll find a couple of service manuals for this style cooktop with disassembly info.
