Hello, Long time listener, first time caller. My Frigidaire dishwasher has had a small leak through the sump gasket ever since I took the whole thing appart to clean out a major detergent/junk clog. I ordered a new gasket and installed it, but it keeps leaking. I've tried to redo it a couple times with the same outcome. I'm wondering if anyone has a picture of how he gasket should be installed. I want to confirm I'm putting it on properly. I'll take any other help you may have as well!

Thanks,

Josh

Not easy to put this gasket on wrong. I just put it on the sump ring, apply rinse aid or hand washing detergent to the outside and let it slip on in.Are you sure the leak is at the gasket? Double check the heater gaskets and make sure those flimsy little nuts are tight and intact.

I second what AccApp says.

Much more likely the leak is coming from somewhere else and traveling across tub and making it look like the sump gasket.

The brass heater retainer nuts on these units have a somewhat common problem of splitting and so can't hold the heater gasket sealed against tub and cause leaks.
