After removing the bottom access panel from my KitchenAid dishwasher to repair a leak, I can't figure out how the bottom outside panel (the one that holds the different colored decorative panels) reattaches to the frame. Obviously the bottom part of the panel screws (one on bottom left and bottom right) to the frame but how does the top lip of the panel attach to the frame?

A cutout notch on each side of the flat metal surface of the panel slides up under the bar that goes across the bottom front of the tub, (should have a rubber strip that kind of seals against the top edge of the lower front panel when installed correctly).
