Can't unlock the oven on Frigidaire FFES3015PB range

During my recent move from PA to TX, my daughter accidentally locked the oven door on the Frigidaire FFES3015PB range while she was cleaning around the stove. (Not the self-clean cycle on the oven; just wiping cabinets and whatnot.)

We've tried a mix of things, particularly holding the Clear/Off button for 3 seconds (as manual suggests) and even turning off the breaker for a day.

Well, the oven STILL won't unlock, and I'm 1500 miles away now.

Does anyone have any other things to suggest to get the oven to unlock before I summon one of the Masters out to fix it for our buyer?

This was a similar thread to your problem... looks like yours will be a right to left movement to unlock as well...

:( No permission to see it. Any relevant cut/paste options?

I fixed that. Try again.

Congrats on your promotion to Legacy Tech, Fr. B!

Wow. I'd like to thank the Academy....

As for the Frigginaire range, The guidance appears to be "take a coat hanger or similar stiff but bendable thing, and make something of an L shape that can be inserted between the door and the range. Going from right to left, move it along to see if the latch can be disengaged manually."

Is that about right?

The old coat hangar trick. That latch won't move much but it doesn't need to to get the door open.
