PHSC39EESS3 - Frigidaire Fridge - Cant seem to find a manual for this one

Manufacturer: Frigidaire/electrolux
Type of Appliance: Fridge
Model Number: PHSC39EESS3
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): yes

So, I already have been to durhams breakdown of frigidaires and how to look them up, but I can't seem to find one for this particular model.

I went through every manual durham listed, and I can't find this one.

This one looks like the genesis control, but it has the main board down in the bottom.

I guess i can put two and two together, but it seems ridiculous that i can't find a manual for this specific model.

It has a tech sheet, and tells you how to force defrost, but it doesn't tell you how to do other test.

I found similar test and tried to do them, but wasnt sure if i was really doing anything at all.

All i was really trying to find, was the ohms rating for the thermistors.  I found a chart in another service manual, but I'm not sure if its the same or not.

I seen someone else was having trouble finding this too, but we can't be the only people looking for this manual....

It has to exist somewhere, right??

Anyone know the scoop on this??

According to Durham, the manual that comes up for this, is not the correct manual. Again, I have the tech sheet, just not an actual service manual. Who knows, maybe one doesn't exist.

This is Frikkidaire at its custerf*ck finest. This model is the predecessor to the Wave Touch/IQ Touch models- both have the MICOM board at bottom, just behind the toe grill. The boards are similar but not identical. For example, the wiring harness connections are different but the manual defrost entry procedure is the same. These facts lead me to conclude that this model uses the same thermistor as the Wave Touch/IQ Touch models. Here's the data table for those thermistors:

I don't know of a service manual for your specific model-- one may well exist but navigating Frikkidaire's Byzantine service manual nightmare structure is a specialty all its own. Perhaps one of the other Brethren can assist.

Awesome, thanks for extra work to find the chart, i believe thats the one i found too.

To make sure, i have the same manual that you're referring to, can you post a link?

Thanks for the detective work.

What a nightmare, makes no sense at all!!

Just search the Files section for "wave touch" and you'll find it.
