My Bosch dishwasher has been beeping and showing a water faucet on the front  but yet it seems to run fine. I tried to find d the repair manual online but this is the only place I can find it but you need to be a pro to get it.  I just want to get into the diagnostic mode and see what the problem is. The symbol would make me think it had something to do with the water supply but nothing has changed.  Checked the drain  hose and that is working fine.

Please help

This is what the tech sheet says about water fill issues... but there are six versions of your model number... is there a /53 or other number printed on the model sticker?

There are likely to be subtle to major differences between the versions...

1. Check if water supply is turned on and water pressure is between 15-145 psi (1-10 bar).

2. Check if water inlet screen is blocked.

3. Check if the safety float system is activated or water is in the base of the dishwasher.

4. Check the voltage between the two terminals of the water inlet valve during the customer service program.

5. Check connections to the flow meter K11.3-3 (orange) K11.3-2 (orange), P-1-3 (orange) and P1-1 (orange).

6. Check connections to the safety float switch (e6), control positions 9-2 and 6-4 are seat- ed properly and not damaged.

7. Check the resistance between “L” terminal of the drain pump (gray wire) and terminal 3 of the main switch (a1).

8. Check the resistance of the water inlet valve between 9-2 and 9-4 (violet).

the submodel is a /60.

I would like to get into the diagnostic mode as I know this thing is smart enough to help point you in the right direction.  I have no idea how to get into this as it is only described in the service manual not the user manual.

Like I said, it seems to run fine just beeps for a while.  No error message is displayed except for the water tap indicator.  I will check the inlet screen.  There is no water in the dishwasher except for like an inch or so in where the filter/screens are and that is always in there.

The customer service test program doesn't mention the water faucet indicator... The program instructions would make very little sense without the button lay-out graphic, which I cannot simply paste to this page.
