This fridge has a water dispenser in the door and 2 ice makers, 1 in the fridge and 1 in the freezer.  The water dispenser and freezer ice maker work fine.  Fridge ice maker doesn't cycle when test button is hit (it does chime).  Have tried testing it a couple of times.  Removed it and it doesn't seem frozen and locked up...

Looking at the back, you can't really get to the fill tube for the ice maker.  It seems to be connected all inside the back panel.

Help...

First make sure the ice maker is turned on at the control.  If it is chiming that means you held the test button down too long. ice maker should cycle with test button is pressed as long as it is receiving power if it does not cycle and has power then most likely the ice maker needs replaced. To check for error codes press and hold the energy saver and lighting button for 12 seconds. Keep holding buttons after the display starts blinking till you hear a chime. If there is an error it will show in the display. I would unplug the refrigerator for a couple of minutes then plug it back in and give it about 10 minutes and see if the ice maker will cycle.

It does not cycle when pressing the test button...

I do get an error code...  39 E

We had a power outage last week (it had already stopped working before that) so the power was off about 20 minutes then and it didn't help.

39 e is an ice maker error. Replac ice maker if unplugging unit does not correct issue.

Thank you...  Hate to spend $125, but that seems to be my destiny.
