Manufacturer: whirlpool
Type of Appliance: ice machine
Model Number: EC5100XFB0
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): yes

Repair clinic does not have info in this ice machine to verify however I did find info on Sears Parts Direct.

I found some info here however it is in french. I only speak english and pig latin.

Can you please provide me with some technical info to service this stand alone ice maker please? Thank you

The only tech sheet I could find is in Spanish. But electrons are the universal language because they work the same way all over the world, so the schematic will still be useful.

So I am to assume there is no service manual for diagnostics available?

Don't independent Ice machines have a diagnostics program? Silly me I thought one the ten step tango was talk to the board through diagnostics.

I have very little experieance with independent ice maker and was expecting a little more help that what your reply. I will cancel with my client and do research and try to get more versed in independent ice makers.  thank you. Have a good weekend.

You need a microprocessor board for diagnostics. Do you see a control board anywhere on the schematic? How about the parts diagrams  that you looked up at the Sears site?

There's no control board on this ancient, simple machine. Just dumb switches. No microprocessor = no software = no diagnostic program = no error codes.
