F-P Dishdrawer DD603 control board problem?

Recommended Posts

Posted

Upper drawer starts on its own, goes into some sort of error mode with beeps and the "power" button does not work. There are probably other symptoms if I know what to look for. The upper drawer LCD is not in good shape so it is hard to see exactly what is displayed.

Lower drawer is not showing any error codes, so I think (hope) the mains board is not flooded.

The upper control board is actually the newer of the two.

Are there diagnostics I should do, or would replacing the board fix it?

Make sure your touch pad inside the drawer is clean and dry. Had too many service calls because of this. Unplug for 30 seconds and reset control. If error persists its hard to diagnose with a failed lcd.

Pull the bottom drawer out and look inside the exposed cavity. Lower right corner should be a tech sheet. Also if you call F-P they are usualy good about helping the cunsumer. Also they are open 24hrs.

1-888-936-7872 option 1 I believe.

Can always switch the two boards and see if the issue follows the board when you try it in the other drawer.
