Here's my dilemma:

My refrigerator is not cooling, but my freezer works just fine. I used other threads on here to test parts and pieces and I believe everything is in order. Then I noticed something strange on the mothaboard. I tried finding a diagram of the board to figure out what would be affected by it, but seeing how it's a discontinued appliance, I seem to be out of luck. I'll try to attach the picture so you can see what I'm talking about. Mothaboard

I had a feeling.

Do you think that area that burnt out has something to do with the cooling of the refrigerator?

Absolutely. This is a fine example of "failed visual inspection".
