My DCS-RG-364GL oven doesn't light

When I turn on the oven the igniter turns on and after 30 seconds the gas comes on. I can smell gas but it doesn't light.

I have replaced the igniter with the same results. If I gently blow on the igniter while the gas is on the gas will ignite.

Any thoughts? Thanks, Dave.

What condition is the burner tube in? Is it properly positioned? Did you use the correct igniter?

Posted

The burner tube seems in good shape. I took it out and cleaned the holes. Nothing seemed wrong. I used an aftermarket lighter that replaced the factory 211541 lighter.

what is the current draw of the "aftermarket igniter" ???
