My GE Profile refrigerator started warming up, and currently both freezer and refrigerator compartments are over 60 degrees. I checked voltage at J15 on the main board and I get 5 volts AC, not DC like I saw it should be on the YouTube repair video. Also the pins on the compressor read 15 ohms. Does the compressor need to be replaced? Could it be something else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does this refrigerator have the pwb in the back?  Is the compressor running? What is the amp draw from the compressor?

It doesn't sound like the compressor kicks on when it's plugged in, but the evaporator fan comes on. I don't see any amperage on the 120v wire that goes into the inverter board. I'm not sure what you mean by a pwb, but it has a circuit board  (motherboard?) in the back

120 volts? voltage check into the inverter from main board...

There is 5 VAC from main board to inverter board. There is also 120 from the wall into the inverter board.

Likely a bad inverter board. Proper input with no output...

Inverter board for sure. Possibly but not likely compressor also. Make sure your condenser coils are clean while youre in there.
