Kenmore 66513753k602 making clicking noise.

I have a Kenmore Elite 66513753K602 that will run a partial cycle and then the keypad goes blank and makes a clicking noise. I looked at the tech sheet behind the kick plate and ran the test that it said on the key pad. The test showed the key pad was bad so I replaced it.  Once again it stopped mid cycle and started clicking. If I unplug it the lights will come back on and I could get it to drain but not run a cycle.  Any ideas? Wondering if the control panel is bad also.

Thanks for the help.

When it stops are there any flashing lights? If so, what ones and how many flashes in the sequence?

Where does it sound like the clicking is coming from?
