Dear Grasshopper,   Rennai seems to be the gold-standard for tankless CWHs in this Country (USA) Im sorry I cant speak to their merits as I have the same questions as you and am dubious of 'salespeoples' opinions. I hope you get some replies with good advice, otherwise, as with more and more things these days, 'youre on your own'  as philosopher, alan Watts, declared, 'you are your own authority'  The caveat here being that there are surely people out there who know alot more about gadgets than we do. Shakabuku !
