Hi

I have an older Whirlpool Duet dryer GEW9250PW1. It has been working fine but today it would not turn on. No lights. Nothing. No breaker blown. Checked thermal fuse - good.

Presume control board somehow? Is there any easy way to verify?

Any thoughts?

thanks

Steve

Find P1-5 on the board. That's the hot wire powering up the board. Should be a black wire.

Then find P1-2 on the board. That's neutral. Should be a white wire. If you have 110 volts between those two points you verified it.

Be careful. Electricity is dangerous.
