Whirlpool washer model wgt4027ew0

Hello,

I have a whirlpool stackable washer model WGT4027EW0 that is leaking. Upon pulling front panel down I discovered it is splashing over the top of tub in agitation. The gap between tub and lid looks pretty large. There is a white rubber shield on left and right of tub ring but no shield on front of ring. Can the tub be lower than it should be? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Rick

Models: WET4027E* WETLV27F* YWET4027E* WGT4027E* WGTLV27F*  * represents colors and engineering versions

Serial Numbers: All serial numbers up to date code (M614…..)   Possible Concern:  It is possible that consumers may experience certain load handling issues with the models listed above.

Potential Causes: This concern could have multiple causes. For example, under certain circumstances such as when washing small loads in low water conditions, the agitator may not handle the load optimally and cause splashing.

Correction:  Install the new FSOU Agitator, P/N W10869121. The new agitator has been designed to improve wash action and reduce splash when washing small loads in low water conditions.
