Hello.

I have a GE stackable washer dryer. Washer stopped mid cycle and is now showing a solid lid lock light and a blinking spin light. Does anyone know what these lights mean? This machine looks very poorly made even by GE standards. Any help would be appreciated.

Tech sheet shows lid lock failure

Remove the two screws visible on the panel between the washer and dryer and lift the panel up and out. Should be a tech sheet taped behind the panel. If the lid lock is not broken (excessive vibration can often slam the tub into it) it just might need to be reset. If the lock assembly is broken you will still need to reset the control board after replacement and the tech sheet will guide you through that.
