MAH6700AWW no drain, service mode "cc" display

A MAH6700AWW which may have had a high particulate load through it, will not drain and spin.

The door locks but the drain pump is not heard. Have power cycled, etc.

Service mode yields a flash between time on cycle and "cc"

Could not find "cc" in tech sheet.  Suggestions?

*wonders what a high particulate load might be, a rug maybe*

First hand, I cannot say, but it had laundry with strawberry puree (now brown), masticated hot dogs with relish, and apparently other things kids eat until they get sick on.

I just got out of my first, and way too long stay in a hospital, and don't have normal mobility, or I probably would have pulled the pump and looked for clogging.  I was thinking of putting 1 psi air up the drain hose, in case that might dislodge clogged particles. But it occurred to me that it would be better to try the service mode first, as perhaps adding some hot water would help free things up.  I figured I could also listen and gather more info.

But I was unable to get the controller into full service mode, and it flashes the time remaining on a cycle, and "cc".  I could not find anything like that in the tech sheet or the service manual, so I figured I should ask here, and the wisdom and knowledge needed was outside my current means.

Sounds like the impeller on the drain pump is jammed. I would check the main control for power to the drain pump. If there is line voltage to the pump and you can’t hear the pump, I would say you either have a jammed pump or a pump that has gone bad.  If you do end up opening the pump to check if it’s jammed, inspect the impeller and make sure the paddles are not chewed down to nothing also. Most likely you may need a new pump if that turns out to be your problem.

darren412, I was figuring that was about the scenario.  But likely there might be some sewing threads or something mixed in there that the puree got hung up on.  I have taken that pump apart periodically and gotten Legos, coins, and more disgusting stuff out of there.  The impellers looked pretty smooth last time I had it apart, which was 2 years or so ago, and probably 6500 cycles ago.

The question still remains why I can't enter into service mode.  If a board or PS or something else, it would be good to know that before just swapping out the pump. But to your point, this pump has been unclogged probably 10 times, and last time I thought that I might better have a spare on hand.

I would take a look at this but if you are getting some code that is not on the tech sheet and also cannot enter diagnostics then I would suspect a board. Need voltage test to see what is going on.
