refer is making a "wooo, woooo, wooo, noise" and it appears to be coming from the fresh food section.  I plan to replace both the damper fan assembly and the evaporator fan motor.  various sites are telling me i need to update the software on the fridge when i replace the evaporator fan motor.  Can anyone tell me how i determine if i need to re-flash the software?

Serial number of fridge is LA512261

you only need to do software update if you switch from the 3 blade fan to the 7 blade fan.
