This might be an "SE" code, which is a shorted keypad. See the Fast Track fro this Samsung model which may be similar or identical to the Kenmore model you're working on:

Thanks Samurai, I'm going out on this Saturday afternoon and couldn't find any cross reference for the control board being used on any Samsung models to try to find more info.

Hopefully it is "SE" Keypad problem - that would make the job a reasonable price and they may fix instead of replacing like they where kind of leaning towards
