GE Monogram Refrigerator Vacuum Seal not working

My refrigerator recently stopped sealing, usually when the doors are closed I can hear something like a vacuum making sure the door is closed tight but that is no longer happening.  The fridge is still cold and keeping proper temperature.  Is there a motor or unit that controls the vacuum seal?

The vacuum you are refer to is caused but the warm air that entered while the door was open. When you shut the door the surrounding cooler air cools the wormer air causing a suction. If the inside temps are warmer than normal or there is a door seal leak then you will not hear the suction. Do you have a thermometer in there?
