Looking for any manual or tech sheet for this dishwasher. It is giving an E8 error code.

Failure of the orientation

of the distributary valve

 

sounds like a divertor valve failure 

 

ones I have had fail often are noisy and sound like a stripped gear

That is kind of what I was thinking Fronek the char I had with the customer, but I haven’t been out to look at it yet.

Hi,

Does anyone know the secret button to get into diagnostic mode on the Haier Dishwasher HDBL865ATS ? Apparently it’s missing in the manual. Please see attachment.

Well I tried holding the Delay Start and Start/Cancel keys at the same time and all kinds of things started to light up. We’ll see what happens.

Did you or any one else ever replace the diverter valve or other components for this model that are related to the E8 code? If yes, what was involved? Did it fix the code?
