2 years old....LP1215GXR not cooling.  Just set it up today for the first time this year.  I don't hear the compressor come on at all, just the fan.  No cool air coming out.

Where to start???  Cleaned the air filters and did basic troubleshooting with exhaust hose, making sure the inlet isn't blocked, set to "cool" with temp at 60 and fan set to "high".

Thanks

Chris

Hey! Calm youself iago.   We are all volunteers here  and this is not primaritly a diy site.

That said you can get great help here but you may need to be patient.

It could  be lots of things.  Acording to diagram power goes right to the board. It does have a transformer that would stop the display, buttons, sounds from working. Its likely either the board or the transformer.

bothe would require dissasembly and. Testing. Would need to be familier with electrical diagnosis to continue.

I have the same model and mine is giving an error code of an F3 is there a schematic error code file for this. Maybe a diagnostics manual?

I do not have a schematic  or tech sheet to look at but , my  first thought in troubleshooting the unit would be to check the water switch.  If it fails, it will not allow the compressor to start.

I just looked at an owners manual on-line and it says F1, F2 and F3 indicates the unit is in FAN mode.  The number shown indicates the fan speed setting.  This is normal and the air-conditioner is working properly.
