KitchenAid KUDE70CVSS2 dishwasher, Start/Resume LED flashes, in randomly in midcycle - pauses dishwasher

Recommended Posts

The dishwasher will pause, with Start/Resume flashing at random times midcycle. The washer can be restarted by hitting the Start/Resume button.

This happens in the normal and 1-hour cycles (have not tried others). This has been happening for at least 6-8 months, but seems to be getting worse (stopping more often).

Is this the control board?

Thanks,

Looks like it sensed that the door was opened during the cycle. Could be a faulty latch or switch. Check your vent in the door to make sure it is clear.

As per tech sheet:

Won’t Run and LED for Start/Resume Key is Blinking Slowly

By design, if the door is opened or power is interrupted during a cycle, the user must press the Slowly Start/Resume key to resume operation.

Control detected door switch problem. Refer to “Service Error Codes” table on tech sheet.
