The oven cavity lights do not work. the bulbs have been replaced with correct bulbs. The door switch is okay. I also checked the transformer but noticed there are two of them. The transformer in the middle had 120vac to it and 24 volts out when probes were placed on both output terminals with lights turned off and doors shut. the other transformer on the left didn't seem to have any voltage. There was no schematic in the oven so I had trouble figuring this one out.

Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Would anyone be kind enough to send me a schematic?

The light one is the. Black and white. Wires NOT the red and blue ones that is for the control

primary windings 40-45 ohms and secondary less than. One ohm. Does not give voltage 5 w bulbs

At the control board Check door switch at P15-1 Tan & P15-2 black.

Do you have 120V at P19-9 black to neutral? This is the supply to the transformer.

Light transformer looks like this

This user continues to ask for technical documents and has been told several times they are for members only.

I refuse to help anymore.

Good information, I will look into it.

Sorry, I can't afford the membership. If it was more reasonably priced, like it was when I started I would definitely update. Thanks for your help.

I don’t consider it as an expense. It is an investment in my business. You can up each call $1 and more that pay for it.

Good point! Makes me wish I signed up for the lifetime membership a few years ago for something like $79.00, my fault, I missed out. It's hard for me to justify close to $200.00 for a couple of tech documents a year. I can get all the documents I want from the companies I do warranty work for such as: Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, U-line, Aga/Marvel, BSH, EuroChef, Dacor, Asko, etc. but I do so little work on GE, Whirlpool, etc. that it is hardly worth that amount to get a couple of documents.

Too bad we can't just buy these documents individually, could that be a consideration in the future?

It’s more than the documents, the real value is in the knowledge sharing.

Based on your posts you are very knowledgeable and would be an asset to the brethren.

Im sorry you feel it’s not worth it.

I can not afford, not to belong.

To each his own.
